The C.S.E. is a public structure which, during daytime hours, five days a week, assists disabled adults with significant problems of autonomy and requiring continual and specific assistance. The C.S.E. represents a very important step in functional recovery and the satisfaction of the requirements of the handicapped. The proposed activities are aimed at the recovery of individual psycho-physical activities.
Dr. Rolle confirms that the idea of using Geomag sprang from her having personally experimented the material and from the question of how the young people would react in the face of such a striking phenomenon as that of magnets.

This activity, recently introduced in an experimental phase in the Educational Social Centre run by the Milan City Council in Via Statuto, is referred to by the young people involved as “playing with magnets” and is conducted by the psychologist in individual or pair sessions of a duration of 10 minutes twice a week.
After their initial surprise at the attraction-repulsion phenomenon, the young people all became very interested and began to manipulate the pieces, albeit in different ways depending on their individual capacities.
Males and females proved to be equally interested.
